In a shocking incident, multiple girls were reportedly molested at a juvenile home located in Uttar Pradesh’s Saharanpur. The DM Dinesh Chandra has suspended five people, including the juvenile home’s manager and filed a case against them. The matter came to light after a female officer conducted an inquiry and FIR was registered after indecent behavior with female children came to light.
According to the complaint received, some indecent behaviour took place with the female children in the juvenile home. The Sub-Divisional Magistrate Kirti Raj reached the juvenile home for further investigation and after a thorough investigation, the matter was quickly escalated to DM Dinesh Chandra. DM Chandra promptly suspended five people and imposed a complete ban on anyone entering or exiting the children’s home until the investigation is completed.
The Circle Officer (CO) level officers are investigating the matter and whoever is found guilty, stringent action would be taken against them. The incident highlights concerns over the welfare of children in juvenile homes, and it is vital to ensure they are safe and sound.
