Diksha Set for Aramco Series in London as World No. 2 Korda Also Tees off
Indian golfer Diksha Dagar is all set to participate in the Aramco Team Series at the Centurion Club in London. Dagar, who has recently won two individual titles on the Ladies European Tour, is returning to the event after her successful team win two years ago. She had previously finished tied 12th in the individual event, which was her best result in the Aramco Series. Diksha’s stellar performance this season has seen her rise to fifth place on the Race to Costa Del Sol Order of Merit.
Another Indian golfer, Aditi Ashok, who also has a win this year, was leading the Order of Merit for a long time but is now in second place as she has been playing on the LPGA. Vani Kapoor, the third Indian player in the field, will also be participating in the event.
The tournament will also feature world number two Nelly Korda, who is excited to return to Europe after a back injury layoff. Korda, who won the Sotogrande Individual event last year and finished fourth in New York, feels close to her best again and is looking forward to the challenge ahead. She will be competing in the Amundi Evian Championship and AIG Women’s Open over the next month.
The Aramco Team Series is an important event for both Diksha Dagar and Nelly Korda as they aim to continue their winning streaks and make their mark on the international golf circuit.
