New Delhi [India], June 15: On June 16, Dharmendra Pradhan, the Minister of Education, will deliver the address at the 6th annual Convocation of the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Jammu. The convocation will also feature Jitendra Singh, Minister of State, and Manoj Sinha, Lieutenant Governor of Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir, as guests of honor.
The Director of IIM Jammu, Prof BS Sahay, emphasized the Institute’s engagement with its students and expressed pride in this year’s graduates. The event will involve the graduation of 232 students with a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree and 27 students with an Executive Master of Business Administration (EMBA).
The convocation is particularly noteworthy for the fact that 57 female students will be awarded degrees. The statement noted that The Convocation at IIM Jammu marks the culmination of student engagement in the Institute during their MBA & EMBA programmes and serves as the starting point for their future journey.
