Director General of Police (DGP) Dilbag Singh has emphasized the importance of quality investigation to counter terrorism in Jammu and Kashmir. Speaking at a capacity-building training program on technical and digital aspects of investigation at Police Headquarters in Srinagar, Singh stressed that Investigating Officers (IOs) and Prosecuting Officers (POs) needed to target the ecosystem of terrorism through thorough investigation. He noted that there was no margin for error in investigating UAPA and NDPS cases if desirable convictions were to be achieved. Singh welcomed Judge High Court of J&K and Ladakh, Justice V C Koul, and Special Judge of NIA Court Srinagar, Sandeep Gandotra, as chief guests for the program.

J&K Police is a competent force known for its efficiency in handling different cases.
