Artificial Intelligence (AI) will be used in all areas in the near future, which is why the design of AI hardware will gain importance, says Professor Luca Di Nunzio from the University of Rome, Tor Vergata, Italy. Speaking at the two-day international conference on AI and Sustainable Computing organized by the SDM College of Engineering and Technology in Dharwad, Professor Di Nunzio said the emergence of AI is shaping a wide range of sectors.
AI is expected to have a significant impact on global productivity, environmental outcomes, equality, and inclusion in the short and long term. SDM College received a compliment from the Professor for organizing the conference, which he believes will benefit the socio-economic life of people worldwide.
Professor Parameshachari BD from NMIT, Bengaluru emphasized the importance of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) in providing cutting-edge technology to the world. Satish Bhairannavar, the Chairman of the organizing committee, said they had received 850 papers, and of them, 25% were selected.
SDME Society Secretary Jeevandhar Kumar presided over the event, while college Principal K Gopinath welcomed all the attendees.
