Rumors of a rift in the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and Jannayak Janta Party (JJP) alliance were refuted by Haryana’s Deputy Chief Minister, Dushyant Chautala, on June 10. Chautala emphasized that both parties are working together to promote the growth of the state, and that the alliance is stable.

Chautala stated that roadworks, engineering works, public health, and urban local bodies works are assigned in every constituency. It is the responsibility of officials to evaluate the work and ensure its quality. He also mentioned Ram Karan Kala’s resignation was submitted to him. Kala was responsible for a scheme designed to benefit farmers by distributing quick MSP by providing them with Rs 1000 for storing and selling potatoes. Farmers are receiving higher MSP than in any other state on the procurement of sunflowers.

Referring to former minister Birendra Singh, Chautala said that BJP’s policy is to allow a maximum of 75 years of age to contest an election and Singh should decide if he intends to run counter to this policy. Moreover, he advised his party workers to stay connected with their colleagues for the forthcoming 2024 elections.

Chautala participated in multiple events in Hisar and visited the houses of his workers. He encouraged them to keep in touch for the upcoming elections. Meanwhile, regarding MLA Jogiram Singh, the deputy CM informed that he is in his constituency.

The BJP-JJP alliance will continue to work together and carry out development works in every Vidhan Sabha seat to ensure the state of Haryana progresses.
