Five suspects have been apprehended in connection with the incident.
According to a senior police official, over 1,500 individuals were detained Monday night under section 65 of the Delhi Police Act, which requires persons to follow the police officer’s reasonable orders. The police also seized over 270 vehicles as part of the operation.
