I apologize for any confusion. Here is the news body without any suspected phrases or instructions:

The Delhi High Court has recently directed the Delhi Police’s Cyber Cell to launch a comprehensive investigation into a large-scale scam involving the fraudulent collection of funds under the pretext of the popular online fashion and lifestyle brand, AJIO. This decision comes following a complaint filed by Reliance Industries, the operator of the e-commerce platform www.ajio.com.

The scam, commonly known as the AJIO scam, revolves around a nefarious scheme where scammers utilize scratch coupons, cards, and prize money offers to deceive unsuspecting individuals. Posing as AJIO representatives, these fraudsters persuade people to deposit money for their deceptive schemes. Victims have reported depositing sums ranging from Rs 5,000 to Rs 10,00,000, enticed by the promise of lucrative scratch card rewards after depositing.

Justice Prathiba M. Singh, in an order, has instructed the Delhi Police’s cyber cell to promptly adhere to legal protocols and provide a progress report. Justice Singh has also granted the police the freedom to submit additional requests if necessary to protect the welfare of the general public.

To combat this fraudulent activity, the court has ordered the freezing of relevant bank accounts and requested detailed statements of account activities from the beginning to the present. Additionally, the court has requisitioned KYC (know your customer) details and any other relevant information available.

Telecom service providers have also been instructed to block mobile numbers associated with these illicit activities and provide documentation pertaining to the identity of individuals who registered these numbers.

Reliance Industries’ complaint primarily focuses on protecting the AJIO trademark and logo. The lawsuit targets six individuals and entities accused of sending deceptive communications under the guise of AJIO Online Shopping Pvt. Ltd., allegedly based in Kolkata. These fraudulent operations have reportedly swindled money from unsuspecting customers through various scams and schemes.

The scammers have cleverly utilized numerous mobile numbers and bank accounts to receive these deposits, even persuading recipients not to use AJIO’s official customer care numbers.

In light of the developments, it is crucial to address these fraudulent activities promptly and protect consumers from falling prey to such scams. The Delhi High Court’s decisive action and the initiation of a thorough investigation by the Delhi Police’s Cyber Cell will hopefully serve as a deterrent to these unscrupulous individuals orchestrating such illicit operations.

The public is reminded to exercise caution while engaging in online transactions and to be wary of any unsolicited communications, especially those promising unrealistic rewards or benefits. It is advisable to verify the authenticity of any promotions or offers directly through the official channels and customer care services provided by the respective brands.

While the investigation progresses and legal action unfolds, it is crucial for individuals to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activities to the authorities. Through collective efforts, we can curb these fraudulent practices and ensure a safe and secure online environment for all users.
