Foot issues have been an ongoing struggle for Sanders since his retirement from the NFL, with the problems even causing him to miss three games during his tenure as the head coach at Jackson State in 2021. Despite the challenges, Sanders recently made the decision to leave Jackson State and join the Colorado Buffaloes, a prominent Division One team in the Pac-12 conference. Sanders’ move to Colorado has also resulted in several players, including his son, star quarterback Shedeur Sanders, transferring from Jackson State to join him.
