Decline in MP Board Class 12th Pass Percent from 72.7% to 55.28%

On Thursday, the Madhya Pradesh State Education Minister Inder Singh Parmar issued the Class 10th and 12th results. The total pass percentage of Class 12 suffered a decline as it decreased to 55.28% compared to the previous year’s 72.72%. This means that out of all the students who appeared for the MP Board exam, only 55.28% were successfully able to clear the exam.

Kumari Mauli Nema from Chhindwara topped the Class 12 exam from the Arts stream by making it to the highest score of 97.8% with a total score of 489 out of 500 marks. The second ranker from Arts was Sonakshi Parmar, a student of the Government Higher Secondary Excellence School in Bhopal.

The MP Board is responsible for designing the syllabus, conducting examinations and providing quality education in the state. The examination is conducted twice a year in March and October, with both High School Certificate Examination and Higher School Certificate Examination being held in October.

Inder Singh Parmar is the current minister for State Education in Madhya Pradesh. He was appointed to the post in January 2020 and is responsible for all policies and affairs related to the education sector in the state. He has been focusing on reforming the education system in MP to bring parity in regional disparities, introducing online education, and making education accessible to all. He also emphasizes the importance of leveraging technology to ensure quality education is accessible to the majority of the population in the state.

These results demonstrate his efforts to improve the educational sector in the state and his dedication to providing quality education to the citizens of Madhya Pradesh.
