DCB Bank Shares Rise 2.30% Amid New CFO Appointment

DCB Bank’s shares rose by 2.30% during Friday’s afternoon trade due to new senior management appointments and strong quarterly earnings. Ravi Kumar was approved as the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of the Mumbai-based lender by the board of directors. Kumar is a fellow member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and a Certified Information Systems Auditor. In his 27-year career, he has held multiple finance, audits, and operations roles at national and international levels. Kumar joined DCB Bank in 2009 as the Chief Internal Auditor and has previously served as the Chief Operating Officer for Branch Banking and Head of Operations and Key Projects. His work has been crucial in building quality teams and strengthening units while leveraging technology to transform every function. The Board of Directors had previously recommended a final dividend of INR1.25 per equity share on May 5, 2023, subject to members’ approval at the following lender’s annual general meeting.
