Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya (DAVV) in Indore is planning to launch its own app similar to Indore 311 to accept complaints from students and other stakeholders. The university has also committed to improving facilities at all its regional centers and ensuring the appointment of more teachers in colleges affiliated to it. The announcement was made following a demonstration by activists of Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad alleging irregularities in academic and administrative affairs. Around 1,000 activists in the form of a rally reached DAVV’s administrative campus but were stopped outside the main entrance by heavy police deployment.
