Cynthia Kay Warren, 63, Passes Away Surrounded by Family in Brazil, IN

Cynthia Kay Warren, a beloved member of the Brazil, IN community, passed away on November 26, 2023, at St. Vincent Hospital, with her family by her side. Born on August 7, 1960, in Indianapolis to the late Frederick McRoy and Elizabeth Ann Johnson, Cynthia leaves behind a legacy of love and faith.

Following her graduation from Arsenal Tech High School in Indianapolis, Cynthia dedicated her life to nurturing her family. She was a devoted stay-at-home mom to her two children, Andrew and Jennifer, before joining Union Hospital a few years ago as a call center specialist. Her caring nature extended beyond her own family, touching the lives of those in her community.

Cynthia’s passion for creativity and craftsmanship was evident in her hobbies. As a Lego enthusiast, she spent hours building intricate pieces. She was also a talented seamstress, known for her exceptional sewing and cross-stitching skills. Many cherished memories were made as Cynthia lovingly made clothing for her children when they were younger, as well as personalized Christmas stockings for each family member. Additionally, Cynthia was renowned for her mouthwatering baked mac and cheese, always a hit at family gatherings.

However, the driving force in Cynthia’s life was her unwavering faith. As a dedicated member of Christ Community Church, she actively participated in Bible studies and engaged in various ministry groups in Indianapolis. Cynthia’s commitment to her spiritual growth and service to others inspired those around her.

Cynthia’s memory lives on through her two children, Jennifer Fields (Kevin) and Andrew Warren (Amy), as well as her cherished grandchildren: James Fields, Kahla Warren, Devin Fields, Chloe Warren, Justean Fields, Shyan Dunlap, Alexa Warren, and Colton Brown. She is also survived by her sister Joanie Kasper (Dave), brother Larry Johnson, and her favorite nephew, Phill Pip Kasper, along with numerous nieces and nephews.

A visitation will take place on Friday, December 1st, from 12-2 P.M. at Lawson – Miller on 1702 East National Avenue in Brazil. A funeral service will follow at 2 P.M., with burial at Clearview Cemetery.

In honor of Cynthia’s life, donations can be made to Christ Community Church at 10942 IN 59, Brazil, Indiana 47834. This will help support the ministries she held dear.

Cynthia Kay Warren leaves behind a legacy of love, faith, and dedication to family and community. She will be deeply missed by all who were fortunate enough to have known her.
