Cyber Crimes on the Rise as Pran Pratishtha Event Draws Closer: Police
Ayodhya (Uttar Pradesh) [India], January 20 (ANI): The Ayodhya Police has issued a cautionary message as cyber crimes are increasing in the temple town ahead of the Pran Pratishtha event.
In light of the upcoming Pran Pratishtha ceremony in Ayodhya, cybercriminals have been taking advantage of people’s faith and committing fraud. They are employing various tactics such as sending fake QR codes to collect donations in the name of the Ram Temple, distributing fake prasad to the public, offering VIP and entry passes to visit the Ram Temple, and creating fake websites in the name of Ram Mandir, Ayodhya.
The police authorities have urged citizens not to respond to requests or messages from unknown individuals without proper verification. They have also advised against donating money to anyone without proper verification.
Booking for ‘aarti’ passes at the Ram Janmobhoomi temple commenced in December, ahead of the Pran Pratishtha ceremony scheduled for January 22. Passes are generated for devotees to attend the three daily aarti sessions held for Lord Ram Lalla at 6:30 am, 12 pm, and 7:30 pm.
The Pran Pratishtha of the new Ram Lalla idol is set to take place on January 22 and will be conducted by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. A team of priests led by Lakshami Kant Dixit will oversee the rituals.
Prime Minister Modi has announced that he will observe a special 11-day ‘Anushthan’ (ritual) prior to the Pran Pratishtha ceremony. Despite his busy schedule and responsibilities, he has committed to following all the rituals diligently.
The idol of Lord Ram, sculpted by Arun Yogiraj, was recently placed inside the Sanctum Santorum of the temple. During the placement ceremony, the veil covering the idol was removed, revealing its first photo.
As cyber crimes surge in Ayodhya in the lead-up to the Pran Pratishtha event, the police advise caution and verify the authenticity of any donation or communication related to the Ram Temple. Stay vigilant and ensure that your contributions reach their rightful destination.
