There is a red Tesla Cybertruck driving around California with a completely customized look. It’s got new wheels, new fenders, and, of course, the red metallic wrap that turns heads. The vehicle was spotted in Sacramento, California, on a rainy day. Dennis took it to the customization shop soon after he got it delivered. Now, he has brought it to a car and coffee event to show it off.
People gathered around it, got onboard without even asking for permission, took photographs of it, and stared at it for minutes. It was obvious that the Cybertruck stole the spotlight on the day of the event as if it were the only car present. The wrap used on his Tesla is called jiujitsu wrap from TinyBot, and it was put on his car in three days by Unplugged Performance.
So far, the most daring wrap that a Cybertruck wore was purple, but that shade was also toned down by the fact that, depending on the light, it sometimes seemed black, while the purple in it came out either under artificial light or direct sunlight.
Before that, we had seen the electric pickup truck wearing matte black, gloss black, white, or military green. But one turned heads like the red metallic Tesla Cybertruck.
And it’s not just the red wrap that people are staring at, but also the all-new wheels. Long gone are those rubberized covers, aerodynamically optimized, along with the 20-inch stock wheels that Tesla equips the Cybertruck with at the Giga Texas.
Those aftermarket Cybrhex wheels in Satin Black start at $1,399 each, and that’s just the price for the 20-inch unit. They are also available as 22 inchers.
Front and rear carbon fiber fender flares come from Unplugged Performance, just like the wrap and the wheels. The set is called Invincible and increases the width of the vehicle by 30 millimeters (1.18 inches) on each side for a total of 60 millimeters (2.36 inches)
The owner brags not only about the looks of his truck but also about its practicality because the load bed is really spacious. The fact that the fender wells do not cut into the cargo space makes it easier to use.
The moment the blogger from the Gas N Go With Snow YouTube channel stands up on the tonneau cover, those watching stare in awe. That tonneau is really solid, being capable of holding up to 300 pounds (136 kilograms).
Dennis hasn’t towed anything and hasn’t tested the 0 to 60 mph just yet. But he knows the numbers: it runs from zero to hero in 4.1 seconds, which is quite impressive for a vehicle that weighs 6,843 pounds (3,104 kilograms). Dennis drives the Foundation Series version, the only one delivered so far.
