When asked why they chose to come back, one crew member summed it up by saying, This is my second home. Crystal is family. This sentiment extends to the passengers as well, with 60 percent of them becoming repeat guests.
Crystal Serenity and Crystal Symphony, the two ocean-going ships, offer a unique and intimate cruising experience. With a capacity of 850 to 980 passengers, these ships provide a cozy atmosphere where passengers can enjoy the attentive service of the crew. The ships also boast a range of restaurants, including an Italian specialty restaurant and the only Nobu at sea, which serves Japanese-Peruvian fusion cuisine.
During a recent preview voyage from Venice to Marseilles, passengers boarded Crystal Serenity and were delighted to find that the ship had undergone stunning refurbishments. The cabins were more spacious than before, thanks to the removal of two decks to create additional popular suites. The overall decor of the ship was familiar yet refreshed, with a newly revamped spa, pool deck with hot tubs, and upgraded restaurants.

Nobu’s Umi Uma continues to impress guests with its sushi, black cod miso, and wagyu beef.

Despite the heritage of Abercrombie & Kent Travel Group, some tours fell short of expectations. However, the company promises to make significant improvements in the coming years, offering exclusive access to Italian aristocratic homes, castles, and palaces, as well as undisclosed locations only accessible to their passengers.
Crystal Cruises has a promising future under the leadership of A&K Travel Group CEO Cristina Levis. Following the relaunch of Crystal Symphony, the company has plans to introduce four new ships by 2029, two of which will be expedition ships.
