Amruta Subhash Opens Up About Filming a Sex Scene in Sacred Games 2 with Director Anurag Kashyap
Amruta Subhash, known for her role as RAW agent Kusum Devi Yadav in the hit series Sacred Games, recently spoke about her experience shooting a sex scene for the show’s second season. In a conversation with Neena Gupta and Tillotama Shome, her co-stars in the series, Amruta shared how considerate and sensitive director Anurag Kashyap was during the filming process.
Amruta praised Anurag for his attentiveness and revealed that he even asked her about her period dates before scheduling the sex scene. She expressed her appreciation for his sensitivity and mentioned that Anurag made sure not to schedule the scene during her menstrual cycle. Amruta also shared her thoughts on her role in Sacred Games, stating that she always aims to experiment and take on different types of roles. Her character, KDY, was originally male in the book but was transformed into a female character by the writing team. Amruta considers it a great achievement to portray a powerful female character in the series.
The actress also appears in Lust Stories 2 alongside Tillotama Shome, playing her employer. Directed by Konkona Sen Sharma, their segment is receiving high praise as the standout part of the film.
