Connected Nation, in collaboration with Hatfield Media, has unveiled an enhanced website aimed at improving access to and understanding of broadband services, programs, and resources. The national nonprofit organization is dedicated to closing the Digital Divide by providing innovative solutions to expand broadband access and adoption for individuals, communities, and states.
The Chairman & CEO of Connected Nation, Tom Ferree, expressed the organization’s commitment to serving those in need and acknowledged the vast scope of their mission. From telework and telehealth to statewide broadband planning, the nonprofit aims to be accessible to people from all walks of life, including decision-makers at various levels. After almost nine months of behind-the-scenes work, Connected Nation is excited to share their new user-friendly website with the world.
Collaborating closely over the past nine months, Connected Nation’s team and Hatfield Media have developed the enhanced website. Hatfield Media provided guidance on best practices for desktop and mobile use, including design, search engine optimization (SEO), and backend needs, while Connected Nation focused on creating improved and streamlined content and resources.
According to Drake Hatfield, President & CEO of Hatfield Media, internet connectivity is essential, and Connected Nation’s mission to help individuals and families access high-speed internet aligns closely with their own goals. Hatfield expressed their honor in being involved with a nonprofit that has a positive impact on communities across the United States.
The new website, connectednation.org, offers a wide range of services, programs, and resources that can be leveraged by individuals and communities. As Connected Nation receives feedback on the website, they will continue to make necessary refinements to better meet the needs of families, businesses, farmers, and both urban and rural communities across the nation.
