Congress MP Randeep Surjewala has questioned the actions of the Haryana government during the recent violent clashes in Gurugram, Nuh, and Sohna. Surjewala accused the government of malice and suggested that the real culprits behind the clashes are within the government itself.

In Nuh district, a clash between two groups resulted in six deaths on Monday. National Conference President Farooq Abdullah expressed his sadness over the incident and emphasized that fighting over religion is not good for India, as the country belongs to everyone and every religion has the right to grow.

Haryana Home Minister Anil Vij reiterated his claim that the violence was part of a larger conspiracy and will be investigated further. Two police home guards were among the victims of the violence.

Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar confirmed that six deaths have been confirmed and 116 people have been arrested in connection with the violence. He urged the public to remain calm and not be swayed by rumors.

Additional security measures have been implemented in the districts surrounding Nuh, including Faridabad, Palwal, and Gurugram, due to the ongoing violence. Fresh incidents of violence were reported in several other districts in Haryana as well.

Assistant Commissioner of Police Varun Dahiya reassured the public that schools, colleges, and workplaces were functioning normally in Gurugram and there were no restrictions on traffic or internet access. He urged people not to pay heed to rumors on social media and to report any information to the helpline number.

Deputy Chief Minister Dushyant Chautala stated that the violence in Nuh district could have been avoided if the procession organizers had provided complete information to the district administration. He assured that strict action would be taken against those responsible.

Deputy Commissioner of Gurugram, Nishant Yadav, confirmed that the situation was under control and normalcy had returned, with markets open. A peace committee meeting and a flag march were conducted in Sohna to restore peace.
