New Delhi [India], December 30 – Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi Vadra criticized the Centre over the rising fuel prices and inflation in the country. In a scathing attack, Priyanka Gandhi Vadra highlighted that while the crude oil prices have dropped by 29 percent in the international market in the last 19 months, oil companies in India have earned a profit of Rs 1.32 lakh crore in just six months. She emphasized that the burden of these significant earnings is being borne by the people of the country.

Inflation is at its peak in the country due to high prices of petrol and diesel. Poor and middle-class people are struggling to sustain their families, but they have not received any relief, Priyanka Gandhi Vadra stated.

She accused the BJP-led government of prioritizing the interests of a select few billionaires, stating, The government’s priority is only to fill the pockets of a few billionaires.

In a separate development, the Enforcement Directorate (ED) recently named Priyanka Gandhi in its charge sheet concerning her role in the purchase and sale of agricultural land in Haryana’s Faridabad. According to the ED, Priyanka Gandhi Vadra purchased land measuring 40 kanal (five acres) from Delhi-based real estate agent HL Pahwa in 2006 and later sold the same land to Pahwa in 2010. The ED’s larger investigation involves fugitive arms dealer Sanjay Bhandari, NRI businessman CC Thampi, and British national Sumit Chadha.

Amidst these allegations, Priyanka Gandhi Vadra continues to criticize the government over its economic policies, particularly the increasing fuel prices and inflation. These issues have had a significant impact on the common people, especially the poor and middle-class citizens who are finding it increasingly difficult to make ends meet. The burden of high fuel prices and inflation further exacerbates their hardships.

Priyanka Gandhi Vadra’s accusations of the government prioritizing the interests of a few billionaires adds fuel to the ongoing debate surrounding wealth inequality in the country. It raises concerns about the government’s commitment to addressing the needs of the broader population and ensuring the well-being of all citizens.

As the Congress leader speaks out against the Centre’s economic policies, it remains to be seen how the government will respond to her criticisms and whether any measures will be taken to alleviate the burden on the people. The rising fuel prices and inflation continue to be pressing issues that impact the daily lives of millions of Indians, making it imperative for effective measures to be implemented to address these concerns.

In the meantime, the allegations against Priyanka Gandhi Vadra highlight the complexity and controversies that surround land transactions and the involvement of various individuals. The investigation by the Enforcement Directorate will shed light on the extent of her involvement and the legality of the transactions. As the case unfolds, it will be closely monitored to determine its implications for the political landscape and governance in the country.

The country awaits further developments on both fronts – the rising fuel prices and inflation as well as the allegations against Priyanka Gandhi Vadra. The impact of these issues on the lives of the people and the government’s response will play a crucial role in shaping the political discourse and public sentiments moving forward.
