Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath took a local inspection of the sewer project in Vrindavan on Sunday and ordered officials to complete the quality work with urgency. Later, Chief Minister Yogi visited the Tourism Facilitation Center in Vrindavan to interact with saints and sages. During their conversation, the Chief Minister inquired about their well-being and discussed ongoing projects in Mathura. Chief Minister Yogi has been on a two-day tour of Mathura since Saturday, inspecting the ongoing development works in Vrindavan. He expressed his commitment to developing the Braj region and ensuring the safety of its pilgrimage sites when he took the oath of office as Uttar Pradesh’s chief minister in 2017.
Chief Minister Yogi also founded the Uttar Pradesh Braj Teerth Vikas Parishad to expedite the development of the region, where various developmental projects are currently underway. Prior to the inspection, Chief Minister Yogi planted saplings on the University Guest House premises. He had also planned to visit and offer prayers at Shri Banke Bihari Temple on Sunday, but had to cancel the program for some reason and headed directly towards Noida instead.
Yogi Adityanath’s visit to the Braj region highlights the CM’s dedication to the development of the area. With various developmental projects, the state government is attempting to ensure that the Braj region, a popular pilgrimage site, is developed and safe for visitors. This year, the chief minister is set to construct a massive 100-meter-tall bronze statue of Lord Krishna.
Uttar Pradesh’s government has developed a comprehensive plan to create a world-class tourist destination in Braj with various developmental projects, including sewage treatment plants, better road transport, and drainage facilities. This series of developmental projects is expected to improve the tourism industry in Uttar Pradesh, especially in religious places. He promised to build 10,000 km of road in the state during his tenure, ensuring that the state’s infrastructure is up-to-date.
