ESPN’s Field Yates has projected one more move for each team to make before the start of training camp, and for the Cleveland Browns, Yates believes they will add one more defensive tackle to continue their offseason overhaul of the position.
Currently, the Browns have a solid lineup of defensive tackles, including Sheldon Richardson, Malik Jackson, and Andrew Billings. However, it seems they are not taking any chances in training camp and want to ensure they have a deep and competitive depth chart at the position.
While Yates mentions veterans Ndamukong Suh and Shelby Harris as potential targets, the best player remaining in the market is likely Matt Ioannidis, who has played for the Washington Commanders and Carolina Panthers. Ioannidis would be an excellent addition to the Browns and would provide a much-needed boost to their pass-rush, which struggled at times last season.
