The Cleveland Browns are gearing up for the start of training camp in just over four weeks. They’ll be heading down to White Sulphur Springs, West Virginia, where they will stay until June 30 before returning home for the Hall of Fame game against the N.Y. Jets on Thurs., Aug. 3.
As they prepare for training camp, quarterback Deshaun Watson is working hard to regain his confidence on the field. During the off-season, Watson has been working with his receiving corps during OTAs, a trip to Puerto Rico, and minicamp to sharpen his skills.
With a goal of regaining his dominating form from 2020, Watson is hoping to show the Browns that he can throw for over 5,000 yards and complete over 70% of his passes as he did while playing for the Houston Texans. He’s ready to pick up in training camp where he left off in minicamp and work with his new and improved weapons.
Despite some doubts about Watson’s potential, the Browns are optimistic that he can succeed with his new team. The team is on paper much stronger than in years past, and Watson will have the support he needs to succeed.
As the team prepares for training camp, they are balancing relaxation and downtime with readiness for the upcoming season. All eyes will be on Watson to see if he can lead the Browns to success this season and prove his doubters wrong.
