In a recent interview with Men’s Health, actor Chris Hemsworth opened up about the major lifestyle changes he has made after discovering his high risk for developing Alzheimer’s disease. Hemsworth, who is known for his role as Thor, expressed the importance of focusing on his health and well-being.

One significant change Hemsworth has incorporated into his life is the practice of solitude. During their discussion, Attia revealed that the actor was eight to ten times more likely than the average individual to develop Alzheimer’s disease due to having two copies of the APOE4 gene—one from each parent.

Despite the genetic predisposition, Attia believed that by taking precautionary measures, Hemsworth’s risk could be reduced to that of an average person. The revelations prompted the actor to prioritize his health and well-being.
