Chopped body parts of a man found in plastic bags in Delhi’s Baprola village drain
New Delhi [India], December 21 – Chopped body parts of a man were discovered in plastic bags in a drain at Delhi’s Baprola Village, according to the police.
A resident made a distress call to the police at 0927 hrs, reporting the presence of a polythene bag containing hands and legs in a drain at Baprola Village.
Upon immediate arrival, a police team found a transparent polythene bag in the drain, which was later confirmed to contain body parts. Another polythene bag was found approximately 1 km away on the same roadside, also containing body parts. The lower torso and limbs found suggest that the body is that of a male.
The body parts have been transferred to the mortuary, and efforts to locate other body parts are underway, confirmed the police.
Teams from the Outer District Police have been mobilized to identify the deceased and solve the crime. A case under Section 302/201 IPC has been registered, and extensive investigations are currently ongoing.
