The Shiv Sena (UBT) has accused the Indian government of hiding the truth about China’s capture of patrolling points on the Line of Actual Control (LAC) in Ladakh. According to the party, China has captured 26 out of the 65 patrolling points, leaving Indian soldiers unable to reach those areas. The government has not provided any clarification on the matter. The Shiv Sena (UBT) stated that instead of focusing on an enemy like China, the government is more concerned about implicating political opponents and planning election strategies. Ideally, the government should have called a meeting with all the serving chiefs and the national security advisor to discuss ways to drive away the infiltrators, but no such meeting has taken place, according to the Uddhav Thackeray-led party. The party alleges that the government is hiding the truth to avoid humiliation.
