Children Sickened by Chemical Agent at Memphis Elementary School, US

Dozens of children fell ill at Treadwell Elementary School in Memphis after the use of an unidentified chemical agent in the cafeteria, according to the Memphis Fire Department (MFD). On Monday, January 29, 2024, around 30 children reported feeling sick and vomiting. Fortunately, none of the affected children required hospitalization. The MFD did not disclose the specific type of chemical agent used. FOX13 has reached out to the Memphis-Shelby County School District for further details on the incident.
