Child Falls into Borewell in West Delhi, NDRF Begins Rescue, India

A child fell in a 40 to 50 feet deep borewell in west Delhi, a rescue operation is currently underway. Director of Delhi Fire Service Atul Garg confirmed the incident and stated that NDRF teams have arrived at the scene to assist in the operation. Deputy Commissioner of Police (west) Vichitra Veer mentioned that efforts are being made to rescue the individual, and details about the person are not available at this time. The NDRF team plans to dig a new borewell parallel to the one the child has fallen into to facilitate the rescue process.
