Over 30 lakh pilgrims have visited Char Dham during the ongoing yatra in Uttarakhand, India, according to Director General of Police Ashok Kumar. More than 10 lakh have visited Kedarnath so far, and efforts are being made to ensure a safe and smooth experience for devotees. To help maintain uninterrupted services during the monsoon season, the government issued a notice prohibiting state services employees from going on strike for six months. The four holy shrines included in the Char Dham Yatra are Gangotri, Yamunotri, Kedarnath, and Badrinath.
