The Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) has announced that candidates whose names are mentioned in the rejected list of Revenue Document (RD) numbers can edit their RD number by logging into the KEA portal between June 8th and 12th. The candidates can use their login ID and password to make the necessary changes.
The KEA Executive Director, S. Ramya, highlighted that the online verification of RD numbers provided by the candidates in the UGCET-2023 online application is under process with the Revenue Department data. The list of candidates whose RD numbers were rejected has been published on the KEA website for the information of the candidates. There can be various reasons why RD numbers get rejected, such as mismatch of name, caste details, expired or non-prescribed format certificates, and others.
To facilitate candidates who have passed their 12th standard from different boards, including the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), the Council for Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE), 10+2, IGCSE, and others, and those who have passed Karnataka 2nd PUC/12th standard before 2023, the KEA portal is available until Friday 6 p.m. to enter their class XII examination marks. Valid NATA marks can also be entered.
These changes aim to help candidates make necessary modifications in their applications and complete the process without difficulties. The KEA advises candidates to keep track of the updates to stay informed and avoid missing any important deadlines or information.
In conclusion, the KEA has given candidates another opportunity to edit their RD numbers and enter examination marks until Friday to make sure that their applications are complete and accurate.
