Abhilash Panda, former Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of consumer electronics brand DIZO India, has announced his departure after two years at the company. In an official message posted on social media, Panda indicated that he would be moving on to pursue new challenges and opportunities on his professional journey.
Before DIZO, Panda was a Director at Flipkart for seven years, overseeing business for the mobiles vertical of the e-commerce marketplace. During this period, he worked extensively with global and Indian technology and lifestyle brands.
DIZO is a global technology brand headquartered in New Delhi. It made its debut in India in May of 2021. The company provides products and services in four major categories — smart entertainment, smart home, smart care and accessories — under the brand slogan “dee-zoe”.
For manufacturing operations, the company has formed a partnership with Optiemus Electronics. This will enable them to produce and locally supply products to its customers in India.
Along with his departure, Panda also sent out a message of encouragement and gratitude for the DIZO Squad. He stated that his determination to meet the needs of an ever-evolving consumer has not been diminished.
With Panda’s departure, DIZO is now looking towards finding a new leader who can take the brand to its next level of success. What’s more, the company is also keen to bring forth new technology trends and products to the Indian market.
