Several students were injured after a ceiling fan fell on them during a class at Delhi University’s Hansraj College, according to student group ABVP. The incident happened during a B.Com (Hons) class, and the RSS-affiliated Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad protested against the negligence of the administration. The college has yet to comment on the matter. In addition to the fan incident, several other issues were raised during the demonstration, including academic concerns. Last year, a building housing the Geography department in the university’s Kirorimal College was impacted by a roof collapse.
