Cassie Ventura Files Lawsuit Against Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs Alleging Abuse and Rape

Singer Cassie Ventura has filed a lawsuit against record producer Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs, accusing him of physical, emotional, and psychological abuse, as well as drug and alcohol abuse, domestic violence, sexual slavery, and rape. The explosive lawsuit was filed on November 16 at a federal court in Manhattan, New York City.

Cassie first met Diddy in 2005 when she was 19 years old, and he was 37. They were romantically linked and confirmed their relationship in 2012. However, their on-again, off-again relationship came to an end in 2018. After their breakup, Cassie began dating her now-husband and fitness trainer, Alex Fine.

Interestingly, Diddy played a role in Cassie meeting her husband, as he reportedly hired Fine as her personal fitness trainer when they were still together in early 2018. However, once Cassie and Diddy broke up, she started dating Fine toward the end of 2018, and they publicly announced their relationship in January 2019.

Cassie and Alex took their relationship to the next level when they announced in June 2019 that they were expecting their first child together. Two months later, they got engaged and tied the knot on August 28, 2019, in a private wedding ceremony in Malibu, California.

In October 2019, Vogue published their wedding photos on its official website. Cassie, who was pregnant at the time, expressed her surprise and happiness with the beautiful experience planned by Fine. In December of the same year, the couple welcomed their first daughter, Frankie Fine, and in March 2021, they celebrated the birth of their second daughter, Sunny Cinco.

Alex Fine, in addition to being a fitness trainer, is also a professional bull rider and model. He is the founder of Almost Home, an online wellness platform. Fine has also launched Almost Home Princess and Superhero Parties, a foundation dedicated to providing birthday parties for underprivileged children.

Following Cassie’s announcement of her relationship with Fine, a source close to Diddy alleged that there was overlap between the two relationships, with Cassie hooking up with Fine before her relationship with Diddy ended. However, Cassie’s representatives denied these claims.

In June 2022, Diddy released his single Gotta Move On, which sparked speculation that he was referencing his former girlfriend in the lyrics. Fine indirectly responded to the song’s release by sharing a link to an LGBTQ+ foundation on his Instagram Stories, wishing Happy Pride to his queer friends and mentioning Diddy’s song.

The lawsuit filed by Cassie against Diddy has generated significant attention, shining a spotlight on the allegations of abuse and rape. Both parties involved will likely face increased scrutiny as the legal battle unfolds.
