Builder.ai, an AI-driven software platform founded by serial entrepreneur Sachin Dev Duggal, has raised over $250 million in Series D funding, led by Qatar Investment Authority (QIA). The firm has now raised more than $450 million in total since its initial campaign in 2018 and its valuation has increased to almost 1.8 times that of its $100 million Series C fundraising in March 2022. Builder.ai’s low-code, no-code platform enables anyone to develop and maintain apps, from tech-averse craftsmen looking to sell their works online to layout professionals with no background in programming or coding. The company is using the funding to invest in its AI and automation capabilities. Since January 2022, the firm has doubled its workforce and increased the size of its UK headquarters.
