State-run telecom company Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has released a new prepaid plan for Rs 439 that grants 90 days of validity. This package only offers voice calling and up to 300 SMSes as no data benefits are available compared to the similarly priced plans of BSNL’s competitors.
Reliance Jio’s Rs 479 prepaid plan, for example, provides 56 days of validity along with benefits such as 84GB of total data, unlimited voice calls, and 100 SMS per day. Additionally, subscribers gain access to various Jio applications, including JioTV, JioCinema, JioSecurity, and JioCloud. On the other hand, Bharti Airtel’s Rs 455 prepaid plan offers 6GB of data, unlimited voice calls, and up to 900 SMSes for 84 days. Furthermore, it includes OTT benefits like subscription to Apollo 24|7 circle, free Hello Tunes, and free Wynk Music. Last but not least, Vodafone Idea’s Rs 475 prepaid plan provides the highest 4GB data per day, an additional 5GB data, and up to 100 SMS per day, however, the package’s validity lasts only 28 days. The package also features additional benefits such as weekend data rollover, Vi Movies & TV VIP access, Binge All Night, and up to 2GB of backup data monthly.
Ultimately, the new BSNL prepaid plan may not be the best fit for customers who require data benefits; however, those seeking an affordable voice and texting option for an extended period may find this package fit for their purposes.
