BSF Seizes Suspected Heroin and Drone in Separate Operations in Punjab

The Border Security Force (BSF) in Punjab, India, recently conducted joint operations with state police, which resulted in the recovery of a drone and the seizure of suspected heroin. In an operation near Rajoke village in Tarn Taran district, BSF and police officials found a broken Quadcopter drone, along with an attached string for carrying payload. In a separate action, BSF officials recovered two packets of suspected heroin near the fence in Amritsar. A farmer suspected of hiding the contraband was apprehended and led officials to the location of the packets wrapped in yellow adhesive tape. The BSF has issued a statement thanking Punjab Police for their cooperation and assistance in the operations.
