Ferozepur (Punjab) [India], January 8 (ANI): Border Security Force (BSF) personnel have recovered a Pakistani drone used for cross-border smuggling during a search operation in Punjab’s Ferozepur district, the BSF announced on Sunday.
The drone, which was made in China, was found in a farming field near Hazara Singh Wala village. The BSF launched the search operation based on information received about the presence of the drone.
Yet another Pakistani drone was recovered by the strenuous efforts of #BSF, the BSF stated.
This recovery comes just a day after the BSF thwarted a smuggling attempt in Punjab’s Amritsar, where they seized three packages suspected to contain 3.210 kg of heroin wrapped in adhesive tape.
In a press statement, the BSF described how their alert personnel detected a dropping sound near the border fence in the proximity of Village-Daoke, District-Amritsar on January 6, 2024, at around 5:30 AM.
