Brazilian Army Commander’s Visit Strengthens India’s Defence Ties: Fostering Collaboration for Global Security
In a significant stride toward bolstering defence cooperation, General Tomas Miguel Mine Ribeiro Paiva, the Commander of the Brazilian Army, is currently on a pivotal six-day visit to India from August 28th to September 2nd, 2023. This visit marks a remarkable milestone in the enduring relationship between the armed forces of India and Brazil.
The visit commenced with a poignant and respectful wreath-laying ceremony at the National War Memorial on August 29th. General Tomas Miguel Mine Ribeiro Paiva paid heartfelt homage to the brave souls of the Indian Armed Forces who have made the ultimate sacrifice for their nation.
