We face immense challenges in conducting our business, Roy lamented. Fear has gripped us. Even during our 24-hour operations, we constantly fear for our safety. The night shift is particularly difficult, and unfortunately, the police seldom show up. We are unsure how to sustain ourselves. Despite the adversity, the restaurant has reopened following Thursday’s incident.
When contacted by CP24, a representative from the Toronto Police Service indicated that an ongoing investigation is underway into the robbery. At this time, there have been no reports of injuries or arrests in connection with the incident.
