Bloomington Woman Sentenced to 7.5 Years for Multi-Million Dollar COVID-19 Relief Fraud
A Bloomington woman has been handed a lengthy prison sentence after being found guilty of defrauding COVID-19 relief funds worth millions of dollars. Tequisha Solomon, 40, pleaded guilty to one count of wire fraud in December and has now been sentenced to 7.5 years behind bars.
According to court documents, Solomon applied for over $7.1 million in pandemic-related funds between June 2020 and January 2022.
