The ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in Madhya Pradesh is set to launch a new scheme called ‘Seekho-Kamao’ aimed at tackling unemployment in the state. With the upcoming elections in mind, the scheme aims to benefit over 1 lakh youth. Under this initiative, Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan will provide financial assistance to unemployed individuals between the ages of 18 and 29.
The scheme focuses on providing training to young people with qualifications ranging from the 12th grade to ITI or higher. More than 1 lakh youths will be trained in various establishments. Upon completion of the training, participants will receive a State Council for Vocational Training (SCVT) certificate from the Madhya Pradesh State Skill Development and Employment Generation Board.
To implement the scheme effectively, the state government has collaborated with 11,000 private companies who will provide training and employment opportunities for the youth. This move reflects the government’s commitment to address the issue of unemployment ahead of the Assembly polls.
‘Seekho-Kamao’ is the second master plan of Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, with the first being the women-centric ‘Ladli Behna Yojana.’ Through this scheme, women receive a monthly financial assistance of Rs 1,000.
The launch of ‘Seekho-Kamao’ is expected to have a significant impact on the lives of unemployed youths in Madhya Pradesh. It offers them an opportunity to gain valuable skills and secure gainful employment. By partnering with private companies, the government aims to bridge the gap between skill development and job placements, thereby reducing the unemployment rate in the state.
The initiative is in line with the government’s vision to promote economic growth and create a workforce that is equipped with the necessary skills for the job market. It also underscores the government’s commitment to addressing the concerns of the youth and providing them with the support they need to thrive in their professional lives.
With the launch of this scheme, the BJP aims to not only provide financial assistance but also empower the youth of Madhya Pradesh. By equipping them with relevant skills and certifications, the government hopes to make them more employable and ensure their long-term success.
The ‘Seekho-Kamao’ scheme highlights the government’s proactive approach in addressing unemployment. It offers a ray of hope to thousands of unemployed youth in Madhya Pradesh, providing them with the necessary tools to build a brighter future for themselves. As the scheme takes off, the true impact of this initiative will be revealed, giving us a glimpse of the positive changes it will bring to the lives of the state’s young population.
