BJP MP Manoj Tiwari Flags off Special Train from Shahdara to Ayodhya Dham
New Delhi, February 10: BJP MP Manoj Tiwari launched a special train from Shahdara to Ayodhya Dham on Friday, ensuring a hassle-free pilgrimage experience for devotees. As the train departs from the North East Delhi constituency, Tiwari expressed his dedication to making all the necessary arrangements for the passengers.
With the grand temple in Ayodhya welcoming Lord Ram after 500 years, the demand for darshan (sighting of the deity) has surged among devotees. In response, the BJP has organized the special trip from Shahdara to Shri Ram Lalla in Ayodhya Dham, facilitating 1,504 devotees. Tiwari emphasized their commitment to ensuring the convenience and comfort of every passenger.
Simultaneously, the ‘Aastha Special Train’ saw a significant number of Lord Ram devotees embark on their journey from Jalandhar, Punjab, to Ayodhya. These devotees will have the opportunity to pay their respects at the newly-built Ram Mandir in Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh.
Indian Railways has introduced more than 200 Aastha special trains, each consisting of 20 sleeper coaches capable of accommodating approximately 1,400 passengers. The railway service has been operating the trains from various cities, including tier 1 and tier 2 towns across the country, since the inauguration of the Ram Temple on January 22.
