BJP leader Rajendra Rathore has mocked the Congress party about the ongoing political crisis in Rajasthan amidst speculation about the next move of Congress leader Sachin Pilot. Rathore claimed that Pilot’s plane is in auto mode and the outcome of the crisis is unknown. There have been rumors that Pilot may form his own party, but the Congress leadership has rejected them. Instead, there may be a show of strength by Pilot’s supporters on June 11. Rathore accused Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot of not responding to Pilot’s demands, which remain unfulfilled. He said the Rajasthan Public Service Commission has not been reconstituted and the Enforcement Directorate has not exposed those responsible for the paper leak during the previous BJP government. Although Rathore criticized the Congress for factionalism, he rejected Congress’s allegations of probe agency misuse by the Centre. Rajasthan will face assembly polls later this year.
