Bihar‘s political leaders have dismissed opposition unity efforts, comparing them to the Bhagalpur bridge collapse that took place on Sunday. Ahead of the opposition leaders’ meeting scheduled for June 23, Chirag Paswan, an MP from the Lok Janshakti Party, claimed that the so-called unity of the opposition will crumble, much like the bridge did. Bihar BJP spokesperson Arvind Kumar Singh believes opposition leaders have lost their political ground due to corruption, claiming that they are doing nothing more than staging photo-ops. Meanwhile, JD-U spokesperson Neeraj Kumar highlights that discussions on seat-sharing arrangements will take place among the host parties.
