Sreejita De, a former contestant on Bigg Boss 16, has announced that she will not be shifting to Germany after her marriage. Sreejita is set to marry her fiancé, Michael Blohm-Pape, on July 1 in Germany.
Sreejita and Michael’s relationship gained attention when he visited her on the show during the Family Special Week, where they displayed their romantic chemistry. After a year and a half of engagement, the couple is now ready to take the plunge into marriage.
Sreejita, who hails from a Bengali Hindu background, and Michael, who is a Christian, have raised curiosity among fans regarding the customs and rituals they will incorporate into their wedding. In a recent interview, Sreejita mentioned that their wedding will adhere to Christian traditions, including a church ceremony. However, she also expressed her intention to include Bengali rituals and customs.
Recently, Sreejita and Michael have started sending out wedding invitations. However, Sreejita expressed her disappointment that some of her close friends, such as Shiv Thakare and Abdur Rozik, won’t be able to attend the wedding due to their own commitments. Devoleena Bhattacharjee, another close friend and actress, is currently occupied with her travel schedule. On the other hand, Rashmi Desai, who is shooting in London, and Priyanka Chahar Choudhary, who has prior commitments, might be able to attend.
In an interesting turn of events, Sreejita De has confirmed that she won’t be relocating to Germany after her wedding. In a heartfelt video, she expressed her desire to stay in India and focus on her work and career.
Sreejita entered the entertainment industry with television shows, starting with her role as Gargi Tushar Bajaj in Kasautii Zindagi Kay. She later made her Bollywood debut in the film Tashan.
