BJP Demands Supreme Court Action Over DMK Leader’s ‘Sanatan Dharma’ Comments India

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has launched a scathing attack on DMK leader Udhayanidhi Stalin and the INDIA coalition over his recent comments against ‘Sanatan Dharma,’ alleging that there is a clear agenda to eradicate Hindu dharma within the opposition alliance. The BJP has described Udhayanidhi Stalin’s remarks as hate speech and is urging the Supreme Court to take action against him in accordance with the law.

In a press conference, BJP national spokesperson Sudhanshu Trivedi highlighted the significance of Udhayanidhi Stalin’s comments, stating that they are not an isolated incident but rather part of a broader sequence of events. Trivedi accused the DMK leader and the opposition alliance of seeking to completely eradicate Hindu Dharma, referring to it as their primary agenda.

Home Minister Amit Shah also condemned Udhayanidhi Stalin and the INDIA coalition for insulting ‘Sanatan Dharma’ for political gain. Shah warned that the more they speak against ‘Sanatan Dharma,’ the more they will lose visibility.

The Tamil Nadu BJP chief, K Annamalai, further criticized Udhayanidhi Stalin, labelling his ideology as malicious. Annamalai emphasized that Tamil Nadu is a land of spiritualism and urged Udhayanidhi Stalin to refrain from spreading his frustrations through public events.

Tamil Nadu BJP vice president Narayanan Thirupathy referred to the DMK as a cancer and dismissed Udhayanidhi Stalin’s remarks as nothing new. Thirupathy expressed confidence that the BJP would decimate the DMK in upcoming elections.

The provocative remarks made by Udhayanidhi Stalin caused uproar on social media, with some accusing him of calling for the genocide of followers of Sanatan Dharma. However, Udhayanidhi Stalin denied these allegations, stating that he never called for the genocide of those following Sanatan Dharma. Instead, he argued that uprooting Sanatan Dharma upholds humanity and human equality.

The controversy surrounding Udhayanidhi Stalin’s comments has once again highlighted the complex and sensitive nature of religious and political discourse in India. As the issue continues to unfold, it remains to be seen whether any legal action will be taken against Udhayanidhi Stalin and how this will impact the ongoing political landscape in Tamil Nadu.
