Pa Leahy, a popular Cork rugby coach, ex-player, and administrator, has passed away. His sudden death has shocked the Irish rugby community. Leahy served as the president of the Charleville & District Rugby Football Club and had previously been the chairman of Munster’s junior branch. His death occurred in the University Hospital Limerick. Leahy will be remembered for his dedication and commitment to rugby. He was also a husband, father, grandfather, friend, team mate and coach, and will be greatly missed by everyone who knew him. Tributes have been pouring in from friends, fans, clubs, and rugby communities. Despite his unexpected demise, Leahy will always be remembered for his contributions to Irish Rugby.
