Whitefield’s annual Beer and Gin Festival is set to return to Stand Cricket Club from July 7 to July 9. This year’s festival organizers promise it will be bigger and better than before.
Visitors at the festival will have access to a wide variety of beers, wines, ciders, and small-batch gins from different local and national breweries. Paul Wilkinson, chairman of the club, expressed excitement about this year’s lineup, which features a mix of local and national breweries.
The festival will offer a range of activities. On Friday, attendees can access live music, hot food, and junior training sessions. Saturday will feature a cricket match between Stand CC 1st XI and Bradshaw CC 1st XI, as well as more live music and hot food.
On Sunday, people at the festival can enjoy the annual T20 friendly match between Stand CC and Sedgley Park Rugby Club. Hot food and live music will also continue throughout the day.
The event is free for all, and no pre-booked tickets are required. People should bring their friends and family along to enjoy the weekend of activities.
