Beck and Phoenix Kick Off Highly Anticipated Summer Odyssey Tour
On August 1st, Beck and Phoenix set the stage on fire as they kicked off their highly anticipated Summer Odyssey tour at Seattle’s Climate Pledge Arena. This co-headlining tour promises an unforgettable lineup, featuring opening acts Jenny Lewis and Sir Chloe. With a blend of nostalgia and fresh tracks, the night was filled with electrifying performances that left the audience eager for more.

Phoenix took the stage by storm, expertly blending their iconic classics with fresh tunes. The band showered fans with selections from their 2009 masterpiece, Wolfgang Amadeus Phoenix, performing crowd favorites like 1901, Lisztomania, and Lasso. They also treated the audience to tracks from their latest album, Alpha Zulu, including Tonight, After Midnight, and Winter Solstice. The band even delved into their early days by performing If I Ever Feel Better from their 1990 debut, United, before bringing it back to the present with hits from their acclaimed 2013 album, Bankrupt!
Beck, the virtuoso and showman, took the stage last, showcasing his extensive discography in a career-spanning setlist. From global hits like Loser and Wow to his 2005 LP Guero, every moment was a treat for the audience. Beck brought the crowd back to 1996 with select cuts from his cult classic Odelay and performed highlights from his 1999 album, Midnite Vultures, including Sexx Laws and Cigarettes and Gravy. The night concluded with a grand finale as all the artists came together on stage for a performance of their collaborative single, Odyssey.
As the Summer Odyssey tour progresses, Beck and Phoenix will continue their summer shenanigans, joined by opening acts Japanese Breakfast and Weyes Blood on select dates. The tour will make stops in Bend, OR, and various cities in California, including Concord, Inglewood, and San Diego.
