BC United Party Announces Prince George Central Candidate Line-Up for 2024 Election
The BC United party, previously known as the BC Liberals, has revealed its candidate line-up for the upcoming 2024 election in Prince George Central. During his visit to Prince George, party leader Kevin Falcon announced that Shirley Bond and Coralee Oakes will be seeking re-election.
Shirley Bond, a long-time representative of the north, will be running in the Prince George-Valemount riding. Bond, who was the first female attorney general in British Columbia, has been serving as the shadow minister for Health, Senior Services, and Long Term Care. Coralee Oakes, who was first elected as an MLA in 2013, will be running in the newly formed Prince George-Cariboo North riding.
